The Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Water (DOW) is seeking a licensed engineer to serve in the Wastewater Discharge Authorization Program (WDAP) Domestic & Industrial Utilities section as the supervisor of the engineering plan review function. You will work with a team of experienced environmental and engineering professionals to make a difference in protecting water quality, human health, and the environment in America's Last Frontier.
The position is currently being recruited for the Anchorage location. The position will be supervised by and report directly to the Domestic & Industrial Utilities Section Manager in the Anchorage office. This position will also supervise two plan review engineers.

Engineer I, DEC requires registration as a professional engineer (PE) by the State of Alaska. Persons not registered as a professional engineer in the State of Alaska must be registered in a state recognized by the Alaska State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors eligible for comity in accordance with AS 08.48.191(b). Persons employed under this provision must become registered in Alaska within 12 months of hire and sign an agreement to this effect as a condition of employment.
